Maureen Smith

Good work
needs to
reach people.

Chicago, Illinois

Maureen works with arts and nonprofit organizations on the things people actually see: a campaign, a newsletter, a poster, a reason to show up. She plans the work and helps make it.

Meet Maureen

From the first idea
to the event poster.

Maureen Smith works in communications and development in Chicago. Her background is in performance, design, and arts production, and her projects often bring those together: planning a campaign, writing the emails, making the artwork, and getting people to the event.

At Scapi, she cohosts the podcast and wrote the brand book that helps us sound like ourselves. Her work with Scapi Creative, Ninety-94, and independent clients also includes mentoring interns, producing audio and video, and making materials a team can use again.
